Hi everyone,
I’ve recently started using the Harder & Steenbeck Infinity 2024 airbrush and I'm loving its precision, but I'm having trouble maintaining smooth paint flow and getting fine lines consistently. I’ve tried adjusting the air pressure and thinning my paints, but I still seem to get some splatter or uneven lines, especially when doing detailed work. Has anyone else experienced this? What settings, techniques, or tips have helped you achieve smooth, fine lines with this model? Appreciate any advice!
If you're struggling to achieve fine lines with your Infinity 2024 airbrush there are a few tips that can help. First, ensure you're using the right needle and nozzle size for fine work; the Infinity 2024 comes with options like a 0.15mm needle, perfect for fine details. Adjust your air pressure to around 15-20 PSI for a more controlled flow. Practice steady hand control and focus on keeping the airbrush at the right distance from your surface—around 1-2 inches. Lastly, ensure your paint consistency is thin enough to flow smoothly through the needle without clogging.
If you're still having trouble, try cleaning your airbrush thoroughly. A dirty airbrush can cause all sorts of problems.
