Are lithium batteries the same as lithium ion batteries?

  • In my opinion, the biggest difference between lithium batteries and lithium ion batteries is that lithium batteries have a single cell construction, which means they are single use and cannot be recharged once they are empty. On the other hand, lithium ion batteries can be used over and over again, they are rechargeable and can be charged and discharged hundreds of times.

For example, ETEKWARE, is a company integrating product R&D, manufacturing, solution design, sales and consulting service in clean and sustainable energy generation and storage business. The Powerwall LiFePO4 batteryfeatures fashionable design, high energy, high power density, long service life, and easy installation and expansion, all of which reflect the real requirements of the end users and the strongest technical capability.

  • Hello Lee,

    Is your battery an Aolithium?

Because you said the car wouldn't start, and our LiFePO4 batteries are not car starting batteries, and our batteries are the deep cycle battery used to power your appliances such as air conditioner, hairdryer, microwave, electric heater, fridge, etc.

  • The difference between lithium and lithium-ion batteries is that one is not rechargeable (primary cell) while the other is (secondary cell). Also, lithium batteries have a four-times longer shelf life than lithium-ion batteries. Visit Lithium Battery Store for multipurpose batteries.
